I was just wondering if anyone has access to a schematic and could check something for me....

My dash radio crapped out so I'm putting an upgraded Kenwood GPS/Bluetoot/rear camera/DVD/Apple Carplay unit in the dash...

In taking the dash panels off I noticed this connector (first pic, far right, 4 pins, two wires) hanging loose behind the AC/heater control panel (second pic).... The only panel options I have are the AUX port (which uses one of the other connectors - already know that one) and everything else has a blank-off plate. I don't think this connector goes to any option I have and was just disconnected but I'm not 100% sure.

If you have access to Toyota docs maybe you can tell me what it is - maybe an unused connector fog light switch (which I don't have) in that panel or something. I don't want to button things up until I resolve this. No hurry as the radio doesn't come until Tuesday night...

If you don't have access to the schematic - no problem; I'll go to the dealer if I have to (the local dealer is pretty bad though)...

Thanks in advance for anything you can do and hope your weekend is going great!

Its a 2013 double cab without navigation or the JBL factory radio - basically its a work truck...

THE FIRST IMAGE IS UPSIDE DOWN FOR SOME REASON SO ITS THE FAR LEFT CONNECTOR !!

In my '10 SR5 Crewmax, I have the far right connector not connected to anything. I have the aux & power socket.

Thanks - pretty much what I thought.... I looked closely and couldn't find anything that would accept that plug in the vicinity...

No problem. The blank has space the loose connector will go in so it's not hanging around. (not that it really matters)
