Bulletpoint does not fit Ram. Learned that from experience.

Bulletpoint makes a great product - very well made and their MagSafe mount for iPhones is a decently strong magnet. However I paired it with an Unholey Vent Mount which is starting to wiggle too much (2.5 gen problems).

What are you holding? If it's just a single cell phone a lot of these mounts are super overkill unless you are really pounding off-road.

mostly holding a phone or two, sometimes my tire sensor for my camper. I really liked my powered accessory mount in my 4Runner. Just put my phone in the perfect spot without completely covering my vent.

I have the ICS and it's solid. Absolutely love it and how it uses the dash as a support for the phone holder mount

Big Bulletpoint fan here. RAM uses a 1" ball mount whereas Bulletpoint uses a slightly smaller 20mm ball mount and sells adapters to mount RAM stuff to their RubiGrid arms if you have some RAM stuff. All Bulletpoint goodies are on sale and there is a lot to choose from. Great customer service too.

Bulletpoint does fit RAM. :thumbsup:They sell adapters to utilize RAM stuff if you already have some. Bulletpoint is the most versatile mounting system out there IMHO.

I was debating between Bulletpoint and OffRoam. But ordered Bulletpoint with magsafe last night since they are on sale.

I have the OffRoam mount. Looking back, I'd wish I'd went with the Bulletpoint instead. Better look, and seems like a sturdier set-up

I was thinking the same. OffRoam mount is a great product. However Bulletpoint seems to be more Multifunction. Maybe able to add more accessories later, other than phone mount.

Thanks for the heads-up! I just ordered the BulletPoint as I have some of the accessories left over from my 2020 RAM.

The adapters are readily available from Bulletpoint and not too pricey, which pretty much allows you to attach RAM products quite easily. Makes it easy to mix and match if you want. Happily

67 designs is another one worth a look. I use the offroam clip with 67designs arm and magnet mount.

ICS mount with the bolt on holder/arms. Very solid with less vibration then using a long ball mount with something like the Bulletpoint mount. ICS uses the AMPS standard mounting pattern. Not sure if they all use this standard.

Bulletpoint uses the exact same AMP mounts as ICS. I have no vibration at all, even off the beaten path with my setup.

Correct, the balls and arms are different sizes but if you have RamMount parts, you can definitely mount them on the BulletPoint base. I’m using both. RAM is larger but because the ball is rubber coated, is less likely to slip.

    Have bulletproof...

Works fine once you Lego it together enough times.

Coupled it with a juggernaut wireless charger works well (needed an aftermarket ball size conversion kit though)

I just bought Bulletpoint with a couple of their adaptors so I could use some older RAM stuff that I have as well. I really like it so far.

I bought the Bulletpoint and mounted into my '24 1794 model with 14" screen. This mount relies on the sturdiness of the insert tray on dash. Unfortunately, this tray is plastic and only held in with very small lip plastic clips. In other words, the relatively heavy metal Bulletpoint tray insert with long attachment arms and then adding 1 or 2 phones/tablets attached to the arms makes this too heavy for the plastic clips to really support the whole system. And more importantly, the insert tray does NOT really allow you access to the 12Volt adapter plug and you loose the tray storage area as well. The placement of the arms is also limited by the large 14" screen. As a result, I removed the Bulletpoint system and returned it. Unfortunately, I know have 5 holes in the tray which I will cover up with a rubber insert.
I am now buying the Offroam mount now as it won't interfere with the 12volt plug access, won't interfere with the large 14" screen and still allow tray storage access. Live and Learn

I wondered about some of your concerns as well. I only have one phone and hope it won't be a problem. I was planning to install mine tomorrow as it just arrived.

the only dash mount that doesnt rely on the tray insert is the victory 4x4 one. However, now I'm uncertain if I want to grab the victory one or if I just go with the Offroam mount. I do like having the option for my wife to have her phone in a holder for long trips. My power accessory mount on my 4runner was the best thing I had done.

I ordered the Offroam with Magsafe holder plus charger. I plan to mount it on vent between steering wheel and 14" display and will run a short cord to the 12V outlet in the center dashboard tray. I will also plug in my radar detector to this 12V outlet with a dual plug. It's all about cord management,,, This way I can save the USB outlet on bottom right of center console for the wife and any devices that she has. I will let you know how it works out and take some photos by the end of next week. Now I am "literally" off to the frozen Tundra- heading to central Alaska tomorrow.

So I went a different path for this. I bought a dash mount on Amazon made by a company called Xomzema. It is a total ICS-FAB knock off, but cost less than a fourth of the price.

    https://www.amazon.com/Xomzema-Aluminum-Multifunctional-Accessory-Tablets/dp/B0C5RJFZZQ

The product is decent but not perfect. I bought some additional fender washers to add support. I then bought a diamond mount 17mm ball to mount my ESR charger to. If you haven't looked into ESR, check them out. The chargers are mag safe compatible. Android users can buy their halolock rings from ESR to make them compatible with mag safe products. It works great on my Samsung.

Nice build there @Texas Two Step but where did you get this part?
Which adds the ability to mount the diamond 17mm ball.

Nevermind its part of the Amazon product.

Yep. The arm was part of the kit. The unit is essentially a knock off of the ICS-FAB set up. If you go the same route, recommend picking up some fender washers to give it a sturdier mount to the dash tray. Also both this kit and the ICS-FAB unit give you double sided tape for the arms to rest on the vent. I didn't want any stickers on my dash so I used the clear non-skid furniture bumpers that I attached to the bottoms of the arms to give it some purchase on the vents. So far, the set up is holding very well. No rattle and no shaking. I caveat that by saying I've only done street driving with it.
