dash info screen

i have a 2017 double cab plain jane S model and i would like to get the info box to show me vehicle speed. it shows avg.speed,avg.mpg.and miles to empty.why can't you get a digital speedometer on it?

You can’t. That was not available in 2017. And no, you cannot swap in a 2018+ cluster and have it work.

You can. I had a 2017 Tundra also. I replaced the factory radio with a Pioneer radio system. Radio screen has all the radio play options, cell phone, etc. plus the additional module that has 2 additional info screens that you could switch to anytime (module is extra at small additional cost). The additional information had everything your dealer mechanic sees when they hook up their meter to your vehicle, i.e.; RPM's Vacuum, digital speedometer, oil pressure, trans, tire readout, engine temp, etc. Can be used while you are driving to get live read outs while you are listening to your tunes.Nothing left to think about. When taking to the dealer for service, you can switch the system off so your mechanic can just plug in if he doesn't know how to switch your system off. Very easy. Different size screens to choose from.
