The dealer called me last week about a software update and I opted to wait to have that done during first service in May. She said I might possibly have the large screen that shows Nav go blank. I figured that would not be a big deal and I could wait. Well, today I started and stopped it several times and I never got the Dash to light up. WTF? I drove it home from the Commissary and when I got home, stopping and restarting brought the dash back to life. Anyone else have this issue? TIA I am wondering if there is a field fix or maybe I have to go into the dealer early?

Sounds like the symptoms described in the active recall @ryanwgregg links above. Run your VIN or check your app. Take it to the dealer and get it fixed.

Although I'm a bit confused that you're asking for a field fix when your dealer already called you and told you they needed to update your truck and you opted not to go :notsure:

Had mine flashed yesterday, took 3 hours of technician time at dealer, or so they claim. Based on when the called me that it was ready for pickup I would say it might actually have taken that long even though I'm shocked it's more than a half hour operation. (did not have it go blank, just the recall related flash)

My 2023 HV dash screen went black/blank this morning… apparently a recall notice is going out to customers… going in the shop tomorrow for 2-3hrs..

Bring coffee, surprisingly it can take up to 3 hours to update the software. I haven't had a problem since.

Half way through, download stalled… they had to run it again. I was there for 4 hrs…but brought my work lap top, so no big deal, same as working in an office.
