Wondering for those that have either how they like them dasaita seems more advanced but some people say cartrimhome firmware is more stable than dasaita and cartrimhome.one has a better waranty and cust service. Need am honest not sponsored opinion.

i want to change mine to one of them( would rather use sony /stinger/poineer ect)some time late fall to early spring as . But i cant find any about the can bus intergration or much about sound quality vs the lousy oem sound. Like whats retained whats lost. I couldnt care less if toyota cant get my telementry data( which i want to completely block from them) or when i need oils changes as i didnt consent and i dont use toyotas app for anything more than paying my bill. How ever does it retain the rest like the ac settings door settings day light running light ect settings. u know all the stuff that should be on the dash board heads up display not the radio also im using fortin evo one remote start with there cellular module so i dont need there stupid oem remote start.

Only woried that those settings will get messed up and just rum as default settings u camt set.. I havent gone in the settings since i got the car and have one of the more expensive launch code scanners if its stored in the ecu and not the head unit.

Finaly i think its bad some small chineese company can interface with the ecu but i data link cant even though the connections for the most part are same as tacomaand im sure they could code the firmware easily. i realy wanted to use a stinger or sony head unit.

Tl:dr is i want to know if any one has either do they like them how is the audio quality compaired to the oem since it doesnt support high res blietooth codecs , and how many of the vehicle functiomns are retained/lost as none of the vids on youtube talk about what the can bus adapter retains/looses or talk about the vehicle settings menu.

I had one from cartrimhome in my 4Runner. I was unimpressed with the sound. I was less impressed with the guy running the show. He is simply a salesman. “His units are the best” according to him. Any problem is the customers fault. The only support is in the private facebook group that is heavily moderated for dissent. If you have an issue, you will be shipping it to china on your dime. I shipped mine to the address provided in china, and three months later, it arrived back on my doorstep, marked undeliverable address. Then they had me ship to their logistics partner in California, and they shipped to china. At least shipping to California was cheaper.

Start to finish, it took 6 months to get a refund. And I ate shipping costs twice. I would not consider either one, although I have no experience with daisata. If I’m spending that kind of money, I’m buying from a company and brand I trust to support me in a professional manner.

after that ordeal, I installed a 5 year old alpine I had sitting in a box that I got from crutchfield years ago. Called them up and they hooked me up with an additional processor for the can bus I needed, and it worked fine.

Take it for what it’s worth. That’s my experience and opinion.

Unfortunately i searched 20 different ways and no one sells a canbus module or mount kit for 3rd gen tundra other than these. Looks like dasaita be a better choice with Amazon 30 day return and i can get extended waranty with the idiots at assurion
