    Black Bear is not for the faint of heart. Couple of pucker spots on that one. Especially if you're not paying attention. Been a number of bad rollovers there the past couple of years.

    I agree. This happens more often then we think. I personally have seen more rollovers on trails that are Subaru quality vs some of the hard core stuff.

    Just cuz someone buys a bunch of stuff to go camping offroad and make their vehicle more capable doesn't mean they know how to drive offroad.

    Ran into a guy a couple of years back on Red Cone. He bought a Jeep, went wheeling at night (by himself) got a flat tire, and didn't have the key for the wheel lock.
    He spent the night there and had zero supplies. We offered help, water, etc when we saw him walking downhill.

    Funny, this is all over the 4runner FB groups the last couple of days too.

    I have read that no one was injured, but the 4r's airbags deployed, frame suffered some minor mangling, and they suspect the motor is hydrolocked. I think this wounded beast sat on it's side for quite awhile before being righted.

    Hell, sometimes swallowing your pride is the better way to go.

    I'm not gonna lie, I pulled rope the other night doing some light off-roading. I got myself all bent out of shape, put myself in a bad spot. A quick tug of the winch and I was in a much better condition to try to obstacle again.
