    Hi guys,

I’ve been having a cylinder 5 misfire every now and again that I can’t figure out. Changed fuel injectors, changed coils, changed spark plugs, changed air filter, cleaned MAF sensor, changed throttle body, changed up and downstream o2 sensors. Checked for clogged cats but did back pressure test and have good flow.checked all the wiring to harness and no issues either. Even tried different ecu. Truck will still hit 80. Cruising at 50mph at 1500rpm I get slight hesitation. When I floor it the truck will go into limp mode with blinking cel no codes. Compression is 150 on all 8. Please help with any suggestions.

If you are going into limp mode, you probably have codes stored. You have checked with a code scanner?

First thought is maybe fuel pump is on way out or having issues, not keeping full pressure, especially at WOT.

Yes I checked with scanner. Only code I had was cylinder 5 misfire. Played with the spark plugs and ignition coils to see if misfire moved but it didn’t. Changed fuel injector connector also for cylinder 5.

Well with all of the parts recently replaced, plugs, coils especially, are they factory or whatever your local parts store or Amazon had? It can make a difference, Tundras can be picky about replacement parts and some of the aftermarket stuff don't play nice with our trucks. The coils would be of particular interest. OEM or Denso would be the way.
