    Hey y'all.

Looking for a rec on CV axles. I replaced what I assume to be OEM with Detroit axle CVs. But, I have now had two fail in the last 2 months. The first may have been a fluke, as the boot was torn out of the box. they're sending me a replacement, but I'm already tired of the job. Just spoke with my local dealer and they said new are discontinued and the reman are back ordered.

Ive read CVJ isn't what it used to be. So what are you guys going with?
I saw the trakmotive TO8250XTT as a higher tier option on Rock Auto and says it's for lifted applications, but the photos don't look real similar.

Used OEM off eBay and rebuild them or the Trakmotive would be my choice.

I just went with CVJ about 2 months ago and had no issues with it. Went through two sets of Napa CVs in 1.5 years and seals too. Was fed up and the CVJs seemed to be a good answer.
