Today finally brought home my new 2025 Platinum with Adaptive Variable Suspension system
While trying to setup "Custom" mode the second item "Suspension control in Custom
mode*" supposed to have three options like on the picture from the user manual "Normal" Sport" and "Comfort", however, on the display menu there are only two options, "Normal" and "Sport". The "Comfort" is missing.
Am i doing something wrong or it is some issue with this car?

Tint and wheels. Decked box in the bed. S and B Cold Air filters under the hood. Shiftpower throttle response controller.
I would think that since it is a Platinum, that standard mode would be the "Comfort" mode.

Good guess but no,Regular or standard is the norm,if you leave it in Sport+,Sport or custom mode when you turn it off,it will default to Regular/normal when you fire it back up.

As for OP,I'm not sure why Comfort mode isn't being recognized.
If you just brought it home I'd go back to the Stealership and get it straighten out, because it should be there

It is not where problem is. Look at the top position on your picture. There us "custom " mode. When you choose it There supposed to be options. There I miss the "comfort " mode!

    Ahhh got it,sorry about that.

Soooo if my memory serves me correct,go to the infotainment center and there you can make your adjustments for the custom mode.

It is exactly what i say, there is no "comfort" option to chose it there, only normal and sport , see my first post with the image

23' Platinum and same as you're getting. Only options within Settings in the "custom drive mode" for "suspension" are Sport and Normal.

Wondering if it's a Capstone feature. This is what is available in mine and what is shown in my manual.

Just checked my 1794 with AVS and air bags. I don't have comfort mode available either in the custom settings.

Sorry to hear this and I'll be 100% honest with you both.I never use Custom mode and your not missing anything "ground breaking",I basically use Sport+,Tow+ and comfort mode.
Tow+ for fucking around with the guy next to me at a light and strictly comfort mode for the HWY.

2nd on this, in the almost 2 years and 40k miles I've had mine I have put it in custom about 4 times. Mine lives in Normal unless driving in certain situations to which I'll flip it to comfort, sport +/S, or Tow.

Exactly!!! It is what i'm missing and "Comfort" is supposed to be there. There only normal and sport. Found some complains about 2024 Taco with same issue. They say there is TSB about it. My hope was some of the 3rd gen tundra has same issue and would recommend a solution

    1. I payed for this option and would like it to work.
    2. I was looking for this option all over, waited 4 month for this car, why would i compromise? I could pay $1K less and get a car in 20 minutes locally without driving 2 hours each way
    3. I want to use "Sport" for power, "Comfort" for suspension and "Sport" for steering, and again, look the #1 and #2 above ;)

    First off nice Avatar

Yeah,I hear ya man you paid for it and yes it should be there,I too built mine from the ground up and waited 4.5 months.
In all honesty thou I've maybe used Custom mode only few times just because it's there.

Tow+,Comfort and Sport+ is the only way I roll and I wish you luck in your quest and it goes your way.

Oops, missed that from your earlier post. I would say my truck should have the comfort option as well but I really don't care so probably won't do anything about it. I wonder if having the dealer reload the software would help? Or find out what that TSB says for more info?

Hybrids have that option , standard do not,

as to why, only the mothership knows, but there is nothing “wrong” with truck.

Thanks, do you have a source for this info? I'd like to see there what else i'm not supposed to get.

Also, can it be added using tech stream or whatever the name of this professional tool is?

I’m not sure what you mean by source , I said I don’t know why .

it’s just the way it’s been since release in 22, the hybrids had comfort in custom the standard do not , I don’t even use custom with all the other modes so it doesn’t bother me

i learned it from the fact that nobody in a non hybrid has that and never has, it’s been discussed before here, so I was just relaying that to you

I’ve never seen anyone add it and I highly doubt it can be.

So what combo are you wanting that bad that this is upsetting

you have comfort mode, sport , sport +, normal , and lame ass eco . Plus you can do a few custom ones.

im either comfort , sport +, or tow , tow+

those are the ones that matter to me
