Have any of you ever tried to lower the minimum speed setting for the cruise control with tech stream or similar software to say 20 or 25 mph vs the 27 or so that it is set for? I like using cruise at that speed when driving through long streets in neighborhoods or similar settings where a ticket can easily be given for speeding etc.

Not much help on lowering the cc speed, but you could get a radar detector.

I think i havent owned a radar detector since i was 18. I lived overseas for some time and in VA where they are illegal to have so i no longer find value in them. I just miss that feature from my passat. that thing could be set as low as 20 or 23. its very useful even during rush hour traffic. if you can get enough distance from the car in front you can hold 25 for quite some time before needing to brake again.

lol dont get me wrong.. i like to stand on it on a wide open road (havent purged the autobahn from my system).. but for my daily commute i travel backstreets to work with a grand total of 27 stop signs and 6 lights. so my average speed may be 35 on the longest stretch between stop signs hahaha. 9 miles door to door
