I'm finally installing my stereo and speakers I've had for a couple months now. Went with Fosgate punch 6x9s and Prime 6.5. Powered by a Kicker CX 360W. The speakers and the amp both have built in crossovers. This might be a dumb question. But I'm guessing this means I should turn the Amp crossovers off? Also I'm planning on using RCA y splitters. Since only 2 come off the stereo. Is that a bad idea?

I would run the amp full range and only mess with the crossover if you need to tune out lower frequencies to match your subs, if you’re running any.

As far as the splitter for the RCAs, you’ll obviously lose your fade. It might not matter, but you’re also mixing different models that probably have different sensitivity, so you might need that to match front and rear. You might be able to do this at the amp, though, adjusting the channel gains as needed.

Ok thanks that's what I thought. No sub at this time. Maybe an 8 inch tube in the future, nothing crazy. I might turn the bass up somewhat on the 6.5s. I will make sure the front and back are on separate splitters.

Well never mind on the rca splitters. Apparently kicker has a fader button which allows to run all 4 outputs on one pair of rca inputs
