First off I want to say great forum. I traded the Tundra for a 22 CHEVROLET 3500 Duramax 10 Spd. I wanted something to put the golf cart in the bed and still pull my camper. The payload is a little over 3900 LBS.

I'll still be coming around here and I will post pictures when I get it set up.

Good on you, I did something similar as I needed more payload and towing. I went with a 3/4 ton gasser and love it. Sometimes wish I’d gone with the diesel for more towing capacity, but couldn’t justify the hefty price increase (although the buy once cry once principle would be applicable)

Always smart to use the right tool for the job. My BIL has a GMC 3500 diesel, has been a good truck for him.

Congrats on the new truck! It’s nice to have that peace of mind. My family just went camping with another family. We are tent campers and backpackers. They have a travel trailer. My kids’ minds were blown. It was their first time being in one, and now they want to get one, too.

All that to say, I might following in your footsteps at some point in the future.
