Has anyone removed this? or possibly have instructions or insights on how to remove it?

If its not clear, this is the metal panel behind the rear seats in a crewmax (maybe others) - I want to be able to mount some things to it, but want to remove to do so I don't screw all the way through (and get a better fit).

Pretty sure some threads in here describe removing this panel to get to the rear window motor and regulator mechanism.

Have you considered a plywood insert in front of it for a mounting surface? Seen a few go down this road.

@2mchfun I have - but need a way to secure it - and would likely want to screw/mount to that panel, which is why I’m curious about removal.

@KNABORES - I’ll do a search for the window motor. I searched initially but didn’t use the right keywords I guess

Oh man. That’s awesome. My second search also didn’t find it - but that video is great. Super simple. Thanks a ton @KNABORES

I’ve been trying to champion the practice of using Google to search for what you want and add Tundras.com to the end of the search. Works like a charm.
