So today I was inspecting my tires and found little groups of cracks around the tread lugs on my general atx . The tires are only about two years old and only have about 15k or so. Im kind of alarmed to see cracks like that. There's some other gouging and whatnot but I can tell that's more Trail wear, the cracks are different. Also seems to be on all 4 tires as well. I'll post a picture later when I get home. Is it possible these tires are dry rotting on a daily driver after only 2 years?? My truck is parked outside all the time, and I live in utah where it is super dry.

Ok so today in daylight doesn't seem as extreme as what I saw yesterday. I'm thinking the spots may be on the part of the tire I'm parked on now but this is a lesser extent of what I'm seeing.20210319_075031.jpg 20210319_075002.jpg

I have similar "dry rot" cracks on my tires that are about 18 months old. I was also a little concerned when I saw it the first time, but I already have about 40,000 miles on them so they will be replaced before the end of the year.
But yes, I would prefer not to see those.
