Courtesy lighting under mirrors on platinum

    I have a 2019 tundra platinum with courtesy lights under the side view mirrors. Is they anyway to adjust the time they stay on they only stay on about 15 seconds and it drives me crazy. I want them to stay on for at least 1 min or 2. Wonder if anyone has adjusted the duration they stay on.

    Seat covers, dash mat, ext. Trans. Cooler, sumo springs, oem pwr fld tow mirrors
    Not sure about the computer settings, but one can always rewire a circuit and add in a timer without too much effort.

    I think that there's a setting that you access via your dash cluster that gives you the option to set how long the dome light stays on. I think that is tied to the time the puddle lights stay on.

    The dome light stays on but the courtesy lights turn off strangely enough.

    I can't remember how long mine stay on, I set it so long ago that I'm not even positive how to access the setting. It might be in your Owner's Manual.

    Your puddle lights run off the mirror control ECU.
    Although there is a connection to the main ECU.

    They are powered off the brown wire of the #6 pin in the mirror plug (M6 and N5) if you wanted to make a modification.

    This is great info thanks, it looks like this seems to be the only option I seriously can’t believe Toyota doest offer a way to adjust this longer than 30’s ‍♂️

    So it appears. I think that the headlamp can be set to stay on for something like two minutes, but I'm guessing that's not the area you're wanting to have light.

    ...another question on these courtesy lights under the mirrors.

    Does anyone have a number for the bulb/light to swap it for an led? I'm currently swapping out all of my interior lights and have all of those but can't find a bulb number or part number for these.
