Cosmetics

Good Morning, afternoon depending where you hail from i suppose. Looking to upgrade some cosmetics on my 2018 crew max. Looking at adding all white doorhandles, mirror caps and tailgate handle. I've read alot of good things about a member and their oem parts shop and started building a basket. My biggest question is:
1) can i get an oem tailgate handle in white from Toyota.
2) are there any suggestions for the massive cup holder slots in the front bench seat cup holders.
3) any other suggestions for upgrades? I wanted a grille but the sensor right now is plaguing me on what to do.

Thats what ive been reading. Seems beneficial to have someone here with that connection. Their prices are hands doen better than the shop here.

 

You happy with all the chrome, or are you thinking of color matching / blacking it out?

the deciding factor in me switching the doors from chrome to black vs color match was the black tailgate handle...
the options for aesthetic and functional upgrades is endless. grab a and before starting through this forum

 

I can live with a tail gate handle that I have to paint myself... the reason I want to replace the original handles with color matched Super White is that they will be much easier to keep clean. The black ones collect wax.

yes those are correct BUT make sure you get the ones for the Crewmax. Price goes up but so well worth it

 

Was looking at the bumbpers and grill to replace the chrome but the price sky rockets. Not quite sure if its worth it.

 

I’d go white on the bumpers, door handles, and grill, black on the emblems. I’m pretty positive there’s someone here with every combination out there for you to look at.

I just ditched all the chrome on my 1794. got the grill and bulge from @Roman. powered coated the ends

 

I dont see the front white caps available. And as far as going to a white frame for the grille i eould have to order any white? And just take the casing?

 

For the bumper caps, there are a few options, none really cheap and easy though. You can have them painted, powder coated, or vinyl wrapped. I think those are in descending order in price.

On the grill, most go with the TRD Pro version, but there are other options. That sensor you have does limit things somewhat.

There’s also a couple of guys on here making overlays for the bumpers.

 

Yeah i like the honey comb actually. Would just need the wrap and bulge. And for the end caps they only come in black and i would need to have them painted. Which is an issue as no local body shops.
