Last night sitting at a red light I was studying a new Silverado that was next to me and the design similarities to the Tundra really stuck out to me. I used to be a Chevy guy and loved that they always stayed true to their classic design, but now they're just being copy cats. I guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery, and it proves that our Tundras are still in style so deep into the design cycle.

Wow you’re right, being white you can really recognize similar shape and body lines. I checked out a dark blue trail boss the other day and liked some things about it but overall thought it was pretty ugly and overdone (like every new truck that isn’t a tundra ). Definitely didn’t realize similarities until now though. I really don’t like what Chevy ford and dodge are doing with their headlights and tail lights, bringing them dramatically in or out in the middle.

I think Toyota raided the bin from the Avalanche for our taillights. I about threw up following my wife one day and it looked to similar to one.

You make me think I subconsciously want a Silverado body and Tundra reliability.

I added a cab spoiler and the AMP Research BedStep. I know the BedStep isn't the same as the bumper steps but I do like the bumper steps so I thought the BedStep was the next best thing.

Ha ha, I'm lazy all the time when I'm not at work or I'm not on a 'honey do' task. I would want it and not clean it.
