Anyone ever convert/add power to the passenger seat? I have a 2001 Tundra Limited. The passenger seat has become an eye soar. I found a Sequoia passenger seat but it is power. I am wondering if anyone has ever "tapped" the power from the drivers seat to be power for passenger as well. Basically I am thinking so kind of Y make shift cable that will power both seats. Passenger seat is hardly used and I don't see adjusting them at the same time. I see another post about swapping out the seats but none about converting manual to power.

I would think it would be just that easy. I would only caution don’t adjust both seats at the same time. Though the likelihood of this ever happening would be rare to never!

Hate to revive but did you have success in this? Looking at power seat options for passenger for a 2005 Double Cab.

Too funny bmf4069 and Professional Hand Model.....

@kickint_it13 Hey, I got side tracked. Funny thing is that it is on my to do list this month.... I will be sure to take pictures... The other part I can recall from first attempt was that the bolt pattern on the new seat didn't line up. So plans are to drill a hole and bolt it down. Hope to have it done by end of this month.

So how much adjustment do you want on the passenger seat? If just up/down, forward/back, just run a circuit with fuse from the battery to the seat...hot and ground and you're done. That's how I put a power bucket seat from a Gen 1 Sequoia into my Gen. 1 Tundra. I mean, do you really need the lumbar stuff? My seat goes foward/back, up/down and seat back goes forward/back...much more comfortable for us big tall guys than the manual buckets that cramp the B-Jaysus out of your left hip/knee/foot on long drives cause you can't extend your leg fully.
Make sure all the electric motors on your new/used power seat are functional before you buy...see it work if you can.
