First post- I'm going through a very unfortunate situation with an F150 I bought new last July. 5th Ford truck in a row and a Gen 1 Tundra before that. I'm at the tail end, hopefully, of a buy back. I'll spare all of the details but it's at the authorized dealer for 6th week in a row. I haven't seen the truck since the first of March. I don't think I've ever had a warranty claim with any of my other trucks but this one is a disaster. The general theme is that it takes a long time to get it in, high turnover of techs at the dealer and a really rough time getting parts.

I'm looking at a gas platinum trim. In general, are you seeing long lead times getting your truck in for warranty work? Is Toyota having the same issues with techs and parts? I'm just trying to avoid where I've been. Thanks.

Ditto, picking up a BP Platinum this Saturday. Toyota on my wifes Rav4 and my past 2012 Tundra DC they always took care of me period!
Ford never has a loaner car for me when they have my truck for a month plus!
2018 F150 Lariat 46,000 miles-fit and finish poor, too harsh of a ride anymore, aluminum sheet metal is not smooth, 1/2 rear defroster doesn't work, door latch freezing......just things that have worn on me.

'00 Tacoma - Sold still running strong@ 110K (Bought it for $10K with 77K miles, wife drove it for 4 1/2 years and we sold it for $8,500)
    '00 Tundra - Sold still running strong @ 205K

I've had such good luck with Toyota's needing nothing but maintenance and gas, that I really can't imagine going with anything else.

I don't "Abuse" my stuff but I damn sure don't baby 'em!

I figure the '19 CPO I just got in September with 20K miles should last me till we get the flying cars we were promised.
