The ol Granpa's proverbial weekend truck. Low miles and well cared for. The 4.7 is not invincible, it's Achilles heel(s) is the timing belt and SAIS system. If those are kept maintained properly, then yes, they are known for well over 300k miles (and as many as 1 million miles) of service without issue. Sometimes low mileage comes with it's own problems. Not using a vehicle can be worse than using it. Short trips and not driving it frequently enough allows for things to corrode, seals to shrink, and moisture to form due to not getting hot and burning it off. If you're pretty sporty as a mechanic, give it the good once over for rust and maintenance issues and grab it up if it tickles your fancy. If you're not mechanically inclined, take it to a TOYOTA tech who knows these vehicles and have them inspect it for peace of mind. Looks like a very nice example for a 2008. The medium cab with the full size bed is a good combo.

as a base model with a 4.7, I'd offer $15k or even a little less. They probably took it in for 7-8K as trade. I would definitely check for rust or issues under that drop-in bed liner. Looks like a nice truck. g/l
