Good afternoon, I can’t get my truck out of park unless I use the override, I have brake lights so I’m thinking it could be the interlock I have called the parts department they said the switch is 489.00 I can’t believe a button and solenoid is that much I Aldo found a computer module that is 120.00 sounds more reasonable but no pictures to verify. When on go on a parts website I can’t even bring up the console shifter all I get is column shifter anybody have ideas it would be greatly appreciated

Before you do all that, remove the console and inspect wiring for damage or fluid intrusion. Use a contact cleaner, clean both ends and see if it resolves the issue. There have been similar issues which have been resolved with the above, worst case you have a rodent who got you.

And make sure your taillights and brake lights are working. Truck does funny things when the bulb pops.
