    Good afternoon,

The Tundra comes with front fog lights as standard but in Switzerland, like most countries on the European continent, it is mandatory for a vehicle to be fitted with 2 front fog lights as well as at least one rear fog light.

In many European countries, people install a rear fog light and as the rear fog light shall not be used during heavy rain as not to blind the users behind the car, they wire it to an additional switch so that it can be switched independently of the front ones. Unfortunately this is not acceptable in Switzerland.

Thus, I would like to know if anyone knows what is the reference of a compatible Toyota stalk which has switching positions for front and rear fog lights.

    A+
    Lionel

So here is the answer, which I hope will help Continental Europe based Tundra as well as other US trucks owners.
1 It is mandatory in the EU to have vehicles fitted with one or two rear fog lights for safety reason.
2 Front fog lights can be used under: heavy rain, Fog, Snow.
3 Rear fog lights can be sued under: Fog, Snow.
Using rear fog lights under rain results in a fine as they are said to blind the drivers following the vehicle.
Failure to have rear fog lights on a vehicle results in a fine and obligation to bring the vehicle to the relevant authorities in order to demonstrate that it complies with requirements 1, 2 and 3.

Thus, any switching solution is acceptable as long as their activation is separate from the front ones (front fog lights can be used under heavy rain while rear ones cannot).

    Hope this helps

    Interesting
I’m not aware of a Toyota stalk that would have two fog light switches. My guess is the rear lights would need to be wired to a regular auxiliary switch, sort of like running chase lights for offroading

This is probably your best option. I assume your tundra is an import as i do not believe they were evert exported with the rear fog light wiring.

You could try a stalk from a EU land cruiser, but then it would just be trial and error. best to just add an aux switch
