Color match 5.7L emblem?

Is there a color matched emblem available? I only found the black-out ones.
I want the 5.7L emblem to be color matched only over the chrome. Do I have to do this myself? And, what about the "LIMITED" emblem?

 

Yeah, you’re gonna have to do it yourself. The ones you have and black are the only options as far as I know.

 

Damn, that's not going to be easy sanding down just the chrome on that 5.7L emblem.

I have TVD Vinyl overlays. They don't cover all the chrome, but I actually like the little bit of accent around the edges. It gives it a little more definition.
They have the overlays available in a wide variety of colors to match just about every OEM Tundra color.

I did mine. You do not need to sand the chrome off.

scuff with a scotch brite pad and dull the finish and use a plastic adhesion promoter.

Then prime and paint away.

Use a good clear coat

What adhesive works best?

 

Are you talking about the adhesive tape to re-apply the emblems? I use 3m

Or plastic adhesion promoter. I have had great success with dupli color

 

No need to sand the chrome down. Just use duplicolor adhesive primer. I works shockingly well.

 

Has anyone else done the color-matched TUNDRA or LIMITED emblems? Not sure how it will look.
