I am looking to do a cold air intake in my 2018 Tundra 1794. I have been looking at the AFE Momentum GT system. Wondering if anyone else has used this or has other success stories with other units? I am going to upgrade the exhaust to a true dual exhaust as well for better flow through. Any help is appreciated.

Are you after more sound or just worried about getting increased performance? There is no performance gains to be made especially on a NA truck by going with an aftermarket intake over the OEM intake. The stock intake box is as cold air of an intake as you will find. It is also able to flow enough air that a supercharger can pull the necessary amount of air through it to make around 600hp. The money would be better spent elsewhere for more power such as longtube headers and full exhaust with a tune.

Silver17 is right. A CAI isn't worth it on these trucks. It comes with a REALLY good factory system and your best bet is just to swap the filter for a performance one. Since you want to do a true duel system, I highly recommend sticking with OEM and go TRD. IF the TRD system is too quiet for you, go with @dirtydeeds and call Keith. He is a quality dude that makes a quality product. I spoke with him before I got my TRD system and we talked for a good 45 minutes. Great guy. If you really, really want a CAI, get the TRD one.

    Too many, but not enough....
As stated above, factory intake is a CAI and is good. Stay with oem filters, your engine will thank you.

You can add an AFE dry filter and TRD Air horn in the fender well and be good to go.

You’re actually pulling hotter air with that prospeed and increasing the IAT temps.

The factory computer can compensate for whatever extra air that intake can give you. May not take full advantage of it but don’t expect much.

Looking for some minor HP gains and some additional sound would be great as well.

I just looked into dirty deeds. Looks pretty legit. I want more sound, but not crazy over the top loud. I'll be calling Keith. My 08 has an AFE system in it and I love how that sounded up front. Never put an exhaust on thay truck, but definitely want to put one on this truck.
