Pretty sure OEM is a cold air intake for Gen3s, same as Gen2. No point in modifying unless you’re increasing demanded air volume via spinning your turbos faster (tuning etc).

Also KNs come in supercharged magnuson kits for Gen2s and go straight into the garbage.

I have AFE but I got it for free from a buddy of mine who sold his Sequoia. I don't know if it makes a big difference, other than you can really hear the turbos spooling now.

If you're looking for more power, JB4 is better bang for your buck. Although, you do run the risk of killing your warranty on anything engine/drivetrain related.

I installed the AFE setup in my friends Tundra, decent set up but I would go for a S&B intakes if I were to upgrade.

AFE also has another alternative, it replaces the filters and intake tubes and leaves the factory boxes.
