2016 Crewmax 4x4 w/1794 Interior upgrade

This happened to me yesterday, the engine light came on and the truck went into limp mode. I had no idea what was going on. I stopped by O'Reilly's after work to check the code (P2447). I'm the 3rd owner of a 2016 with 38k miles. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but after reading through the forum, it doesn't appear this will be covered under warranty. Has anyone installed the bypass kit and if so, how difficult is it?
