I read that too and that's fine. I actually put one bottom bolt the opposite because it just was not going in the other way. Makes no difference as far as shackle functionality but might save a little space for spare.

As far as I know there is not a specific orientation of the shackle, just have the nuts on the “outside” away from the spare

Yes but I don't think the direction of the nut/bolt has anything to do with the shackle functionality. It's only to give a little more room for the spare. @Coachbuilder1 can you confirm

That is correct. Mainly matters if you run a bigger spare

But I still don't understand what you are saying g about the orientation based on some square. The square is on both sides. Please try to explain again.

The squares are only indented on one side of the shackle so if you dont face the square out then they are installed wrong

These two pictures are of ONE of my shackles. One picture shows the inside and one shows the outside. My understanding of this "square" you are talking about is the indentation around the bottom nut/bolt in the leaf, correct? If this is true, you can see in both pictures that the square is on the inside and outside of the one shackle. What am I missing? I have the +2 shackles.

The shackles took a few hours. All the other stuff made the job almost two days.

How did you press the bushings out besides the press tool?

I bought kobalt impact 650 lb torque to press them out it took about 15 seconds to push out....I was amazed how easy mine came out I had also wanted the impact tool for a while so worked out perfect

You used an impact wrench instead of the press tool?

The tool has an end where you use a wrench and he used an impact on that. I used my impact with the press tool as well.

December 3rd, mailed USPS Money Order, (a necessary lack of transparency from SWMBO) don't think he got it till last week. Did not stop him from getting it ready.

@Coachbuilder1 , hey bro, what’s going on with these shackles. I placed my order in November. I don’t mind waiting but if people are receiving there product before me and paid after me??? Same size as mine also? So what’s the story bro

Yea, I seen that. I order +1’s also. Paid in November. Not December, which is why I’m getting irritated now.
