Coachbuilder +2 shackles $200

CB +2 shackles for sale. In good condition. A few small scratches on the inside of the one shackle but pretty minor. Includes hardware and bushings. Only on the truck for 5,000 miles or so. Just upgraded my leafs so no longer needed. $200 plus shipping or local pickup southwest PA

 

Would you mind explaining what these things do and what's their purpose?

The reason I ask is that I installed a 3/2" Readylift a couple years back. It uses a spacer in the back so the springs have less of a U-shape in them and are more flat. If I removed the spacer and installed these, would I have the same lift in back but just better?

 

Yes my understanding is it gives a better quality ride and reduces bed bounce compared to the blocks. You'll lose a bit of your lift though with these going from a 2inch block as a +2 shackle actually provides about 1.25" of lift.

 

Made my tundra trd pro super more planted and comfortable. Its hard to explain actually how much of a difference in feel it gives but it makes it feel like a new truck 100%

You would need a +3 shackle which gives you 1.75 inches of lift if you were going the coachbuilder route. There are other manufacturers out there as well that make different lengths.
