Clearance lights w/aftermarket tow mirrors

I finally located and purchased tow mirrors (Part Number: 1AMRP02080) that do everything my original stock ones could do AND include towing mirrors capability with my 2017 Platinum tow capable tundra.

The issue continues to be getting the side marker lights to work. 1Aauto directed me to connect to the interior dome circuit -duh, that means you can ride with the door open to illuminate them... when I asked for a real answer they sent me away.

Does anyone know of the precise point to connect the supplied wire inside the cab of a 2017 Platinum, for power to make the marker/running lights work WHEN they should?

I have tried many searches without anything that appears to answer this need.

 

Any keyed power source really. Mine were wired to my parking lights

 

This is what came back from everywhere. I was thinking since they are clearance lights they would be wired to clearance lights (parking) - not so. NOBODY has a clue about precisely where to tap for clearance light operation. I searched within the cab for parking light power and only located buzzer/reminder circuits. I located the run to the tow plug but the harness is outside the cab (I think) and not really an option.

As it stands they now are on when power to door lock section is active or similar to DTRL. No big thing, just figured that 1Aauto or somebody would have been thorough enough to define the connection point that best matches the desired operation of the clearance/parking lights. Have seen that the wire harness plug in latter models has it presented, available and working.
