Have any of you put the clear windshield tint on? Looking at the Llumar air tint. Trying to cut down some heat and glare, but don't want my windshield tinted again. Had it tinted for a little bit till my windshield shattered, but didn't like it for night driving. Loved it during the day. Does the clear tint significantly cut down on heat? On hot sunny days, I have my ac cranked as high as it will go and I'm still hot. Ac works fine there's just so much heat coming through the windshield.

Ha, I must be getting old, it's not even July yet and the heat is getting to me. I'm also looking at getting seat warmers at the same time. I wish I could get the vented seats too.

I have a full windshield ceramic tint on mine and I love it. I don't have the brand, it was free with my windshield replacement last month. Dramatic difference in cabin Temps even with my truck sitting in the sun all day. I would definitely recommend getting it done.

Good to hear. I didnt know if it actually made a difference or if it was just snake oil. Looks like I will get it done.

And it’s applied on the inside like other tints? Any issue fogging up more than normal? Sounds like it would be beneficial to pay for the right person to do it.

I have clear ceramic tint on my front windshield. Dramatic difference for me, I can just barely tell it’s there. Also have 20% ceramic on the other windows. I don’t get cooked like I used to especially now that the front window is done.

I assume it's on the inside otherwise I would think it would get torn up quick. I didnt have any issues with my old tint fogging up more. Definitely not something I would attempt on my own worth it to have someone that knows what they are doing do it.

I have clear Xpel XR+ in 70% on my windshield (15% on the front doors, 40% rear doors, window, and sunroof). Definitely worth it and makes a difference in hot ass FL. XR+ is expensive stuff, but it works really well.

I have Llumar Stratos ceramic tint all around with clear windshield tint. I have been doing the clear windshield tint on my last 3 vehicles and it is worth every penny to me. I am in Texas and it makes driving while 100F very comfortable. No visibility issues day or night. We always say when driving in extreme sun and heat we feel like we are in a “bubble” and very comfortable.

I just got my windows tinted. Went the high end ceramic route. 15% all the way around and 50% on the windshield. I thought 50% would be too dark, but it's not at all. I'm surprised.
