Ok so I am debating removing this clear film because I am about to install the Sparks fender flares. I have noticed that these tend to turn Yellow or discolored and look like crap down the road. Also the edges get gummed up with dirt and show a very distinct outline. Should I just peel it off? Is it really worth keeping on? Anyone else remove theirs?

They provide protection. If you do decide to remove them you can easily order another set down the road if you change your mind.

my 2007 still has them and they look like new except a few dings where they got pelted by rocks. I think that is a very vulnerable spot. Mine haven't faded at all.

I wouldn't peel them off. But that's just me. That area tends to get all sorts of debris thrown at it, and it protects the paint from becoming chipped.
