Chrome rear bumper caps for 2018 Tundra not an option?

I was just told by a Toyota Service manager that I will not be able to get Toyota chrome rear bumper caps for my 2018 Crew Max because the chrome would interfere with the parking sensors. Therefore he said my only option is to keep the stock black bumper caps. Does anyone out there have chrome bumper caps on a 2018 Tundra with parking sensors?? If so, any problems? I'm guess aftermarket might be an option.
