Chemical Guys ordering info

Anyone order direct from Chemical Guys? Just placed my first order on Tuesday and I never received an order confirmation email nor does it show an order in my order history. The order does show on my Discover card though so they do have my money.

Just wondering what the norm is when ordering from them. The automated phone system just hangs up on me and I’ve yet to hear back from them thru email.

Haven’t purchased threw them but called them 2 weeks ago for a new sprayer because the one Amazon sent me was crap. They sent me a new one no charge. The gentleman who took the call was very easy to deal with and took care of the issue no questions asked. Good outfit they should be in touch soon maybe it good olde Covid problems right now.

 

Good to know. I’m in no rush for the stuff. I just thought it was odd that I never got a confirmation email. It probably is the Covid causing a delay.

Thanks guys for the comedy. You know, I watch a few vids on YouTube about Chemical Guys and they come across as top of the food chain in detailing products from all the comments. I’m gonna give em an honest test on my wife’s wheels that are full of brake dust and iron deposits. I bought a few products to address this issue specifically so I’ll do some before and after pics to see if the products perform as expected. My wife just wants to buy new wheels but $50 for some chemicals and tools is worth a try.

 

CG stuff is good product. Just stay away from the hybrid ceramic wax big waste of money. Like all things some products are better than others for the exception of carpro all their stuff is amazingly good.

 

Thanks for the info. I’m gonna look at the Carpro stuff when it’s time for me to wax the truck.

 

Regarding the Carpro products, is there Carnuba wax the best way to go when doing a hand wax? I don’t have an orbital polisher.
