Check your lower front rockers for leaves

I typically park my Tundra under trees at home. So today I noticed a small leaf sticking out of the lower driver side rocker near the front door. So I decided to remove the plastic river and take a look. Much to my surprise the whole lower panel was packed with leaves! I always remove them when I see them but I didn’t expect that many leaves to be trapped in there. Here are a few photos. Might want to check your Tundra if your under any trees and see if it’s packed full of stuff.

 

You may want to check between the cab and bed. I didnt see them until I was underneath doing some work.

 

Thanks!!!! Will do tomorrow. I also wanna check down below the A pillar. I think its called a dog leg or something. There's a little plastic flap there. I'll try and post pics tomorrow.

 

You can get to those leaves without removing that tab. You can also go in from the jam side.
Just push the plastic out of the way

Yes sir. I’ve checked there as well. I couldn’t believe how many leaves where trapped in that spot. I would imagine if they stayed there for a long time they could have lead to rust.

 

I tried that at first but it was a lot easier to remove all of them from the wheel well side.

 

Yeah I taco would get loaded up with crap in there. It could absolutely lead to rust. And probably some smelly rotting stuff too

 

I was surprised I had no leaves on my passenger side and a bunch on my driver side. Ok maybe I should have pulled that rubber towards the cab a little more after seeing your photo. lol

 

That’s the spot. They come in from the top on the cowl area near the ends.

 

Yeah it’s a tight spot. But if I only have a couple leaves, it’s easy to get. I can only imagine if it was packed.

 

Do you think if I parked under a bank that spot would get filled with money?

 

Only if parked directly under the money trees. They typically locate them closer to the structure, so it can be surveilled 24/7.
