Check engine light on after jumping other vehicle - common?

Wife's car battery gave up today. Jump started it with the Tundra, turned off the Tundra for a few minutes and then started the truck back up. PCS inop message appeared and check engine light illuminated.

Turned the truck off and restarted it. PCS warning gone (never had that warning before) but check engine light stayed on.

I reset the check engine light via the key on / ODO reset procedure and everything seems to be back to normal (no lights or warnings). I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this after providing a jump start. Is this a common or just a passing gremlin? I'm not concerned with the issue but I am curious.
