Does anyone have a way to prevent the truck from running ~15.1v when off throttle aka coasting? I'd like to put in one of these LiFePo4 starter batteries in but the over voltage cutoff is 15v and it will trip. The normal charging voltage after driving a while settles out at 14.4v which is perfect for these lithium batteries or SLA's. There is a connector on the return side of the battery that looks like a current sensor but I can't tell if it actually influences the charging voltage.
