I recently installed 6112s on the top setting with one CB shim on the drivers side, along with CB +2 shackles in the rear. Im running 33x11.50's.

I'm thinking about changing the 6112's to 1.9 for a couple reasons. Adding some rake back into the truck, less CV angle, possibly smoother ride.

    Is it worth the work?

I prefer a little rake so I think it'd be worth the work. You're also right in that you'll have a little smoother ride at a lower setting, less strain on joints, etc.

I have the 6112's set at 1.9 with the 5160's in the rear. I'm happy with the ride. Basically it leveled the truck.
