Center console shifter broke

2007 Salsa Red Pearl 4.7L 4wd SR5 DC TRD

There have been many posts and YouTube videos about the column or steering wheel shifter breaking but has anyone replaced the center console shifter assembly? Mine is broke and the shifter knob spins around on the spindle. I bought another shifter assembly from the junk yard but haven't attempted to install it yet.
