2018 4.6l tubra sr5 60000 mi Cold morning 0 degrees. Started fine, ran 20 minutes, ~50 mi left for driving gas. Stopped shut off to refill, put ~6 gal in.
Started normal -ran ~ 4-5 seconds and i watched oil pressure drop to 0 and motor then quit… never happened before. Definately oil dropped before motor quit, i thought that was very strange.
Tried to restart, the starter Worked as normal, but it wouldn’t start. Turn the key off then on and said not ready… Left It for a few minutes, trying to figure out what to do. About 10 minutes later I read if you try to reset it might turn on. I cycled the key 4 to 5 times and then I pressed the odometer and cycled the key again. It appeared that that made it reset. Not sure. I turned the key on and it did not say not ready. I engaged the starter and started right up. Wondering if my gas line froze then cleared. Anyway, just thought I’d say that if anybody ever had that problem?? It appears everything’s fine now.
