The Catalytic Convertors on my 2021 Tundra got stolen from the Kansas City Airport two weeks ago. The truck is at the dealership to get repaired since 3/19. Now they are saying that some parts will be available on 4/18, however there is no ETA on two (2) parts and can be two months before they show up.....

Has anyone else experienced the same issue and any work arounds which you can suggest.

At least you still have the truck.... one if my friends had the cats stolen from his in long term parking at KCI as well... except they cut the gas line causing a leak which erupted in flames when the remote start activated. It burned to the ground.

Welcome from TX. Sorry for your misfortune.

Unfortunately, as the economy tanks more of these types of things will continue to escalate.

My advice is to lose the cats altogether

Welcome from East Texas, and I'm sorry to hear of yet another theft - I hope your dealer can take care of you quickly. Unfortunately leaving the cats off may not be an option if you are in a metro area where annual emissions testing is a requirement for registration.

I had all four cats stolen at the end of January in a well-lit hotel parking lot. Insurance comprehensive covered most of it. I was lucky my dealer had most parts, and I got my truck back in 2.5 days. After doing lots of research I ordered Tyler's Valhalla Shield plates (search here on the forum), and looking forward to getting them installed soon.

My brother in law had his cats stolen and it took three months for the parts to come in here in Dallas. I suggested he buy the Walker's for $400 per side just to get back on the road but he wanted to wait it out the OEMs.
