Looking for options for catalytic converter replacement. I have a 2012 that is in need of new ones. Mainly looking aftermarket if there is a good option (that doesn't throw codes lol). Not really wanting to fit the bill for OEM if ya know what I mean. Throwing P420 and P430 codes if anyone has ideas of what else it could be I'm open to ideas.

We’ve put every single type of after market cat on tundras and Toyotas at our shop. They literally never work; I’ve seen some magna flows work for a couple months and fail; Toyota oem is the only way to go unfortunately. If you’ll don’t wanna spend the money and the cats aren’t clogged, just get some O2 defoulers and it’ll keep the code from popping up ‍

Have you tried running a tank of 93 through? Sometimes that helps

I've posted this several times in the past. I replaced the driver side cat on my 2008 5.7 at about 180k. I used a Walker bolt on. It fit perfectly, cost about 1/8th price of an OEM cat and worked without a problem for about three years and 40k or so miles before I sold the truck. It was so cheap and so easy to replace I really wouldn't have cared if I had to replace it every 40k or 50k miles. Never had a code or check engine light. Several others have successfully used Walker cats on this board.
