    Got the passenger side cats and muffler installed yesterday and as I suspected they said it was cut with a chain pipe cutter not a saw. Had the shop put up the Or-Fab plate while it was there. Thing is heavy and I like that it came with alen key bolts.

    It covers all of the way back to the leading edge of the rear cats. Could cut the pipe after it but there's no quick or easy way to cut it ahead of the rear cat to get it off. The front one is completely protected and access from the sides is protected by the 90* bend in the plate.

    Might look at the BudBuilt transmission skid for added coverage of the rears. I had already purchased the Or-Fab before looking at the Buds but I contacted them anyway and they were very responsive to emails...very helpful. I think their plates are a good option, especially since Or-Fab stuff has almost disappeared from the shelves. They can be purchased in sections or the entire 6 piece kit covering stem to stern.

    I definitely got the last one from 4 Wheel Parts, but the Or-Fab site lists other distributors on their website. You may want to call each and see if they have any left somewhere. Looks like Kragen and Les Scwab are the biggies but I found a few others in Nor-Cal: I bet if you put in different zips throughout the US you could find one sitting in a smaller reseller. Or call BudBuilt.

    I don't think they have any left. I ordered mine through NoLimit4x4 about 2 weeks ago. Order went through but nothing. No email, no charge on credit card, no email reply. I'm assuming they're out of stock.

    I got hit 2 years ago on my 07' tundra. Came out started the truck up and it sounded like NASCAR...at lease the kids like daddy new race truck. They caught them sum' bitch last year when they hit up a movie theater parking lot...greedy got them

    Sounds like you will find out and update us..tell them there can be bunch guys that would buy them. A shop with CNC should make them fairly easy and quick

    For sure I'd say more than OR Fab but hoping it's not much more. The one on CL from Sac asking for $425 is a bit too rich for my blood. If I find anything reasonable I'll definitely share the info.

    I'm thinking maybe getting a remote start with motion sensor might be the way to go at this point, two for one: remote start and cat deterrent alarm. What do u guys think?

    Motion as in proximity or vehicle? If the latter it won't work as there's almost no movement when they cut em out.
