Catalytic converter’s

Hello everyone it’s been a few episodes on the block of catalytic converters being stolen. Just want to know if the 2022 tundras are a hot item? And if so, what can I do?

Anyone that has cats is a hot item especially if they can be accessed. Seems there are protection plates already for the 22s and that has been discussed.

 

Unfortunately the new tundras have very little in improvement over the previous generation. The only minor improvement is the moved the first set of cats closer to the manifolds which makes it able to be protected by one plate instead of 2

Here’s what the 2022 Tundra cat shield from @Classy63 at Valhalla Shields looks like. I haven’t installed it yet but I’m very impressed with the quality on initial inspection.
