Increase in pipe size is probably gonna suck with the 4.6

Not probably, for sure. The loss of low end torque ruins the way the truck shifts. Just because a system supposedly designed for a 5.7 happens to bolt onto a 4.6, that doesn’t mean that it’s a good idea.

When we design a system for a particular vehicle or engine, we actually acquire said vehicle with said engine and do our testing. The 4.6 required much smaller diameter tubing than the 5.7 did.

Obviously I’m not telling the OP what to do, I’m just making recommendations. But this is my job snd it would be irresponsible not to point out what I have learned in the nearly 18 years of building exhaust systems for tundras. Almost as irresponsible as making a system for a 5.7 and saying it works on a 4.6 simply because it happens to bolt on and it’s more profitable that way.

    Welcome to the forum.

First of all, there is a reason the seller is selling it.

I'd guess the drone was so awful the seller opted to try Keith's Helmotz to tame it.
I first bought a Magnaflow for my 2014 5.7 (before I knew about Dirty Deeds) and it had the drone from hell.
I contacted Keith and he suggested I try his Helmotz with the Magnaflow.
I did that and it killed the drone, but it knocked the exhaust sound back to stock.

I then ditched the Magnaflow and bought one of Keith's BAMs.
Been running one since with the original resonator he first sold me..

@dirtydeeds systems are well worth the money.
You'll see post after post on this forum from happy satisfied BAM customers.

Standard Exhaust System - Dirty Deeds Industries

Kieth is currently having a sale, with $50 shipping.
It is the best time to buy.
Give him a call and discuss your wants and needs, and he will recommend which system you'd be happy with.
