Carrier bearing shims?

Hello all, long time lurker but new to the page.

I have a 2016 Crewmax 4x4 and have been dealing with a driveline vibration. The previous owner changed the carrier bearing with an aftermarket, installed it upside down (it was installed 2 holes facing down correct me if I'm wrong) and blew the nuts off of the crossmember. I took it to the dealer for a warranty repair and they said it's missing the factory carrier bearing shims/washers and that there are 6 different sizes available for our trucks. Has anyone encountered spacers on a stock truck between the carrier and the crossmember? I'm hearing that there shouldn't be any shims but the dealer is insisting that they are missing. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

 

Last summer I installed a carrier bearing drop kit. I don’t remember seeing any other shims from factory.

 

No shims here on a 16’ DC

I recently put some spacers in mine to level out the driveline and it didnt have any

 

No shims on my 18’.

 

Installed the RC carrier bearing drop on my ‘19 Crewmax Limited 4x4 on Friday after a 3.5” lift and acceleration shudder. No OEM shims. Three RC shims per two bolts got rid of the shudder immediately.
