    Getting there
Took a long road trip today (Sc to Mo). My phone just updated to iOS 15.6 and I had CarPlay issues. Wireless CarPlay wasn’t working, had to be plugged in. I was running Apple Maps and the directions in the center stack wouldn’t update. It wasn’t changing the source automatically, when I tried to play a podcast, I had to go in and manually switch to iPhone for the source to get audio. And the system would constantly flip back and forth between CarPlay and non CarPlay modes. Pretty aggravating. If you haven’t updated yet, don’t and if you have, are you having any problems?

I haven't updated my phone in a while but I have noticed lag issues when trying to talk on calls wirelessly through the Apple Play but the call would be fine when I would switch speaker. I was wondering if updating to the newest version would fix this issue. Did you notice any type of lag or delay when trying to talk.

reboot phone post update then try un-pairing your phone then re-pair to your car unit.

I can’t connect with wireless CarPlay anymore. Worked for a few days then disconnected and I haven’t been able to get back. iPhone 13 and radio have current updates. Dealer was clueless. Phone tech support was clueless. Found a thread on Apples forum with people saying their radio was replaced by the dealer and that fixed the issue. I’ve spent HOURS resetting and disconnecting and reconnecting….still no wireless CarPlay. Bluetooth usually connects but frequently drops and has to be reconnected. So I’m just using the cord for now. Sorry I don’t have a better answer

I should note, my girlfriends iPhone connects with wireless CarPlay seamlessly. iPhone 12 latest updates. I think somewhere between the Toyota app, the driver profile, and the owners phone something is breaking down. I need to find someone else’s tundra to see if my phone will connect I guess

I had a brief issue this morning. Before doing anything with the Tundra this time, I did a graceful shut down of my iPhone. Phone came right back on, and it connected to the Tundra with no problems.

Have a Platinum hybrid, been having issues since last week with my wireless Android carplay, it keeps disconnecting saying "lost gps signal", it's pretty annoying.

I have the same problem, wireless carplay stopped working, and my ATT hotspot doesn't connect either. I called ATT they told me the truck can get signal but the hotspot button won't switch on. I took it to the dealer also and they have no clue how to fix both issues, they kept telling me ur truck is too new. All I can do now is just leave it corded. Now, I have another annoying issue with the screen, it will just keep restarting... I do have another appointment this coming Sat at a different dealership, hopefully they can fix it.
