Received the Carista OB D2 today and in no time I had the fake sound (Motor engine noice ) turned off. If I get tired of the Tundra being too quiet I can always turn it back on

 

Awesome. Will me the first thing to do when mine comes in

 

Anyway you can take pics of what it can do ?

 

Asked my dealer to turn mine off and their tech couldn’t find it. Not sure if they dismissed my request or their tech isn’t familiar with the new Tundra yet. Any tips on what I can tell them to help them locate it in TIS.

 

I had the same problem. I took my Tundra to the Toyota dealer and they couldn’t figure out on how to turn the engine sound enhancement off. If you go to you tube there is a video of all the functions. Very detailed.

 

There is another thread here that tell precisely where to find it and what it's call... something like SES.

 

I watched the carista 2022 tundra YouTube video and it doesn't seem like it has a lot of options or settings to change... My Ram obd software had hundreds of tweaks. Hopefully carista will release more in the future for the 2022 tundra official release

For me, I only want to disable the fake engine sound, and maybe change turn blinker from 3 to 5 blinks.

I wish that it had more features such as extend length of hands off from steering wheel during self drive mode or at least disable the annoying beeping every 10-15 seconds...

OH and disabling the whistling sound from driver side mirror on the highway would be nice too
