cargo light fuse box or wire tap

Hi all, i'm looking to install some LED strip lights in my bed for additional lighting. i was able to do this on my 2019 tacoma, but looking through fuse box diagrams, i'm not seeing the same opportunity for the 3rd gen tundra.

for starters, i would rather not pull down the headliner to access the wires to the cargo light. i would prefer to install an add-a-fuse into the cargo light or possibly tap into the cargo light's wire along the door sills. I would want the bed lights to turn on when i press unlock on my remote or when i flip the cargo light switch to "door" or "on".

This was the easiest solution I could come up with when installing bed lighting in my MY22 Limited. I'm not sure the wiring will be there if you do not have the courtesy / cargo light on your rear tailgate. If you do, this should work like charm. See attached wiring diagrams as well.

Ive actually read through your guide and unfortunately I have the sr5, so I don't have the courtesy lights in my tailgate. I forgot to mentioned that in my original post. appreciate the response though!

Curious what you ended up tapping into? I have a SR5 too so I dont have the trailer courtesy lights. Im searching all the forums to try and find a write up but cant find anything for a SR5.
