car play issues

i just installed the auto harness house conversion from entune 2.0 to 3.0 they also supplied the radio and amp everything works put carplay i have it turned on in the radio settings my iphone siri is on but the car play app does not show up in the menu screen any body have ideas before i rip it out and send back

 

The car play setting shows up on the Home Screen where your phone call presets are. Did you buy the usb port adapter? The head units are wired car play only.

 

do you mean a wireless adapter if so i have not , im using a usb cable is there another adapter i should be using

 

Ok. I just press the car play area on the home screen and it’s activates car play. My auto harness house wiring harness is working great. Using the wired usb port as well. Maybe the a connection is loose or a pin is bent on the harness connecter. I never had to turn on a car play setting on my iPhone, it just connected automatically.
