I purchased my first 2020 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab but would like to buy a used cap, what years would be compatible when looking online?

2014 to 2021 with the same bed length will all fit properly. 2007-2013 cap fitment is similar but the differences at the tailgate would require the cap to not sit 100% right and not be as tight at the cab end.

If you want a shell with a flip up back window that closes to the tailgate then you need a 14-21 as mentioned above.

But if looking for a shell with Barn Doors instead then you can likely use any 2nd Gen shell regardless as the whole thing can be slid towards the cab and the doors will still work.

There is a 1.5" difference and the pre 14 beds are not as long as the post 14 beds including the tailgate so a pre shell on a post bed with tailgate will be 1.5" from the cab if the flip up windows latched correctly to the tailgate.
